Two Kinds of KF94 Face Masks - SUMMER & WINTER

• SUMMER KF94 - Light weight with compressed microfiber making it feel lighter. Same KF94 protection as the Winter KF94
• WINTER KF94 - Medium weight. The microfiber is NOT compressed making the mask feel thicker. Same protection as the Summer KF94.

NOTE: Do not confuse the light weight Summer KF94 as lesser protection. The compressed microfiber filters 94% of contaniments as small as 2.5 micrometers.

 

KF94 is a certification standard from South Korea just as a KN95 is from China and the N95 from the United States. A KF94 certified face mask will filter 94% of all particulates up to 2.5 micrometers. A KF94 mask can come in any style, however, South Korea is well known for their 3D style which has horizontal piece across the mouth with a top and bottom flap. The KF94 masks also come in 2D which is the traditional two piece center fold mask we are most use to seeing. (Learn About Certification Standards)
